As a Web Designer at Techspo, your primary responsibility is to create visually appealing, user‑friendly websites that communicate our brand identity and support our products. You will take design concepts and transform them into functional digital experiences, ensuring that every site is responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.

This role requires a strong blend of creativity and technical skill. You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to design layouts, graphics, and interactive elements that enhance user engagement. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, understands modern web standards, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where innovation and attention to detail are key.

🔑 Key Objectives

  • Deliver responsive, visually engaging websites aligned with Techspo’s brand.
  • Ensure usability, accessibility, and performance across all platforms.
  • Support product launches and marketing campaigns with tailored web experiences.

📌 Primary Areas of Accountability

  • Design and implement website layouts, graphics, and interactive features.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into functional websites.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Maintain and update corporate and product websites with fresh content.
  • Develop reusable components and style guides for consistency.

🛠 Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS (SCSS preferred), and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and cross‑browser testing.

🎓 Education & Experience

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Web Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional web design experience.
  • Proven track record of designing and maintaining user‑friendly websites.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms preferred.
